Public Art

railroad mural

There are many public art installations in the Town of Roseboro, especially considering our small size and rural location. The art that adorns Roseboro is a reminder to the community that this is a place where you can take root and bloom. We invite you to make an afternoon of it, and treat Roseboro like an outdoor gallery and sculpture garden: enjoy temperate North Carolina climate and experience Roseboro through the lens of public art.

The beautiful mural photographed is the "Roseboro Express" train mural completed by Roseboro-Salemburg Middle Schools Students multiple years ago.

The Town of Roseboro is committed to revitalizing our Downtown core: an essential part of these efforts include beautification of our Downtown. Lead for North Carolina Fellow Anna Rahilly is currently spearheading a project to bring more interactive public art installations to the 'Boro. Please stay tuned over the course of the next few months for updates on the arts in Roseboro. Direct any questions or concerns to Anna Rahilly (arahilly.tor [at] gmail.com (arahilly[dot]tor[at]gmail[dot]com)) -- we want your thoughts and opinions!
