The Mountains-to-Sea Trail is a simple footpath stretching almost 1,200 miles across NC from Clingman's Dome in the Great Smoky Mountains to Jockey's Ridge on the Outer Banks. The MST runs through Downtown Roseboro.

A new trail opportunity is COMING SOON to Roseboro - the Pondberry Bay Preserve!
In collaboration with the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, Sampson County Parks & Recreation, and the Friends of Plant Conservation, the Town of Roseboro will soon have a 5+ mile walking trail accessible off of Marion Amos Road.
As both a trail system and an ecological preserve, Pondberry will serve Roseboro's visitors and residents as well as its ecology.
