Elections for town commissioners are held on odd numbered years in the month of November. The town's elections are nonpartisan (no party affiliation) and plurality (popular vote wins and no run-off) with the mayor serving a four year term and board members serving four year staggered terms.

- Registered to vote
- US Citizen
- 21 years of age
