Parks & Recreation for Your Pleasure!

Roseboro is fortunate to have two parks, a town park and a county park. Though we are small, we like to have fun and exercise.

The Roseboro Town Park is located in the downtown area and has playground equipment, basketball goals, a baseball field, and shelters for picnics and grills. On a beautiful day, it is often packed with children and teenagers playing and visiting. This park is also utilized for gospel sings, birthday celebrations, family gatherings, and town events. The shelters can be reserved in advance. Please see the link below.

The other park is the Western District Community Park, located at 700 W. Clinton St. in Roseboro. It is administered by Sampson County. It was completed in 2009 and includes a 1/2 mile walking trail, lighted baseball fields, concession/restroom, lighted multi-purpose fields, picnic shelters with grills, restroom building, and parking. Sampson County has organized soccer, baseball, softball, football, volleyball, and basketball. Call their office at (910) 299-0924 for more information or click on the link below.
