Location

Roseboro is conveniently located less than two hours from the crystal coasts, and four hours from the beautiful North Carolina mountains. Fayetteville is only 25 miles west and Raleigh, the state’s capital, is 60 miles north. Clinton, which is the county seat is around 12 miles east and Wilmington is about 60 miles southeast.

Climate

Our climate is warm in the summer with temperatures ranging from the 70s to the 90s. July is the warmest month with an average maximum temperature around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. In the winter the temperature is usually in the 40s. January is the coldest month with an average minimum temperature of about 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Our average annual rainfall is about 49 inches.

Attractions 

Throughout town, there are many places worth visiting.  There is the Barn Quilt Trail and the Mountain-to-Sea Trail that will show you the beauty of Roseboro. Please utilize the links below for more information. 

Conveniences 

Within the town limits we have two shopping centers, two schools, two grocery stores, several car repair shops, doctors’ offices (dentist, optometrist, and family doctors), a library, a post office, a dance studio, and many restaurants and shops. Several new businesses have opened in the downtown area including a furniture store.

Roseboro is an active community of “Just Good Folks.”
