I grew up in a rural area of Pennsylvania in Berks County, an area not so different than Sampson County, NC. Growing up in PA, I earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, then my teaching credentials from Albright College. I also met and married my husband, Barry and we have three children, Alex, Kyle and Erin and are expecting our first grandchild this April.
We moved to Roseboro in the Fall of 2006 and I began teaching in Sampson County Schools. Currently, I am a NCPK teacher at Union Elementary School. I became involved in the Small Town Main Street Group, in order to help Roseboro grow and prosper. This led to me being involved in Roseboro’s STEP committee, where I serve as the recording secretary. I am now honored to serve you as a Commissioner on the Town Board, where I hope to continue to work for the continued growth of Roseboro.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you in this capacity.
